Description
Application:
The CW 75x50 drywall profile (0.60 mm) is used in dry construction systems. It is made of 0.60 mm steel with a controlled amount of zinc coating that protects the metal from corrosion.
Features:
- Steel thickness: 0.60 mm;
- Controlled amount of zinc coating;
- The flanges each have three longitudinal ribs for extra rigidity;
- Two longitudinal ribs on the web add further rigidity;
- The 50 mm wide flange is a convenient base for fixing plasterboard.
Properties:
- Web width of the CW profile: 75 mm;
- Two longitudinal ribs on the web stiffen the profile and the whole structure;
- Each flange has three longitudinal ribs, one in the centre and two at the edges, that stiffen the profile;
- The central rib serves as a guide when setting out the frame (it marks the stud axis) and as the centre line when joining boards;
- One flange is shorter than the other, so two CW profiles can be joined into a box section to form reinforced door-opening studs and to extend frame studs;
- The return lips at the flange ends add rigidity and act as a lock when profiles are joined into a box section. The lip is 6 mm long.
